Report Logs
The Report Logs section offers a transparent and structured overview of all reports generated across applications like Face Recognition System and License Plate Recognition. It allows users to track generation history, monitor processing progress, and download completed reports efficiently.

Purpose
The Report Logs page helps users:
- Monitor the status of report generation in real time.
- Identify and troubleshoot failed or cancelled report generations.
- Access previously generated reports for auditing or review.
- Understand performance indicators like total count, file size, and processing time.

- Cancelled reports will have a disabled button.
4. Understanding File Metrics
- Total Count: Number of records/events in the report (e.g., 10000).
- File Size: Final size in MB or KB.
- Processing Time: Indicates report generation duration — useful for performance analysis.
5. Paging Through Logs
- Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate:
- Move between pages using arrows or page numbers.
- Change number of items per page using the dropdown (e.g., 12/page).
- Jump to a specific page using the Go to Page field.
Best Practices
✅ Regularly check the Cancelled status reports and attempt regeneration if needed.
✅ Use file size and processing time metrics to detect unusually large or slow reports.
✅ Use the report title and timestamp to trace data corresponding to specific timeframes or users.
✅ Archive completed reports locally if long-term storage is needed.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If a report is Cancelled repeatedly, ensure:
- Source application data is available and correct.
- The report template is not corrupted.
- System resources (RAM/Storage) are sufficient.
